Ten years journey from a banker to an academician… It's 30th June 2020 today. Exactly 10 years back on same day (30th June 2010) I joined this academic career shifting from the position of Deputy Manager (at HDFC bank) to Assistant Professor in RCPIMRD Shirpur. Hundreds of people during last decade have asked me one common question that 'Sir, Why did you switch from Corporate to Academic career?' I don't know why there was such a big shock in the minds of people to see me going from higher salary to lower salary, from mega city to small town or simply to a teaching profession from being a banker? This kept me surprised always & thinking as well that whether I did right or wrong by choosing this career? I do not know the exact answer to this question even today. 'How to produce creative content & find the right audience?' Before writing if you have hundred of doubts in your mind like how people will react on your various articles & writings? Whether they will love or hate your content? How will it affect your own perception in their minds? etc. Then trust me, you can never write a natural & true article filled with emotions & realities in it for sure. At this point you have to think for a while, relax and consider as if nobody exists in the world at the time of writing....If you are writing truly & honestly, you do not need to worry about anyone or anything in the world. Always have self-confidence that your hard efforts will not be wasted. Once you finish your article/writing, just have a second look towards it for more suitable & easy words you wrote earlier in first writing, find synonyms, restructure sentences if required. आज हा विचार केला का कोणी? आजचा दिवस तसा विशेष म्हणावाच लागेल कदाचित म्हणून कि काय याबद्दल काही ओळी लिहिणे जणू काही मला आवरले नाही. तर आज दोन मोठ्या गोष्टी योगायोगाने एका दिवशी आल्या आहेत, पहिली तर 'जागतिक पर्यावरण दिवस' आणि दुसरे म्हणजे 'वटपौर्णिमा.' एकिकडे निसर्गाची आणि संपूर्ण जीवसृष्टीची संरक्षण करण्याची आपल्या सर्वांची जबाबदारीची जाणीव करून देणारा क्षण तर दुसरीकडे एका वडाच्या (जो पर्यावरणाचा ए क अविभाज्य घटक आहे) त्या झाडाला स्वतः च्या नवरोबाच्या सलामतीसाठी धागा बांधण्याचा दिवस म्हणजे वटपौर्णिमा. एकिकडे शास्त्र तर दुसरीकडे श्रद्धा (कि अंधश्रद्धा?). त्या वादात मी आता पडत नाही कारण माझा विषय दुसरा आहे या लेखात. माझ्या 'सौ' ला वडाकडे पूजेला नको जाऊ बोललो (कोरोनाच्या धास्तीने या वर्षी), तर जसं काही LIC च्या 'टर्म पॉलिसाचा प्रीमियम नको भरू' असं बोलल्या सारखी तिची भयानक प्रतिक्रीया होती. शेवटी या प्रसंगातून एका शहाण्या नवऱ्याने एकच धडा घ्यायचा, बायकोला काही गोष्टी फक्त तिच्या मनाप्रमाणेच करू द्यायच्या. कारण उद्या चालून आपल्या काही जीवाचे बरे वाईट झाले तर ब...

करूया सामना तणाव आणि नैराश्याचा! जीव कोणाचा का असेना, जेव्हा अश्या जाण्याच्या गोष्टी कानांवर पडतात ना, खरंच थोडा वेळ मन कोणत्या विश्वात भटकते काहीच कळत नाही. नैसर्गिकरित्या मृत्यू नियम आहे आयुष्याचा मान्य आहे पण जेव्हा 'आत्महत्या' हा शब्द कानावर पडतो ना तेव्हा नकळत डोळ्यासमोर येतात हताश आणि हतबल चेहेरे जे अयशस्वी होऊन जीवनाला आणि परिस्थितीला कंटाळले आहेत आणि म्हणून कदाचित असा टोकाचा निर्णय घेतात.  WHO च्या एका अहवालानुसार २६.४ करोड लोकं नैराश्य घेऊन जगत आहेत. या प्रचंड आकड्यात कदाचित तुमचा एखादा प्रिय व्यक्ती असू शकतो किंवा कदाचित तुम्ही सुद्धा. त्यांना वेळेत ओळखायला शिका. सर्वांना गृहीत धरून चालू नका. प्रत्येकाच्या भावना, विचार सतत बदलत असतात तेव्हा त्यांना समजून घेण्याची जरा सवय लावून घ्या. दुसऱ्यांशी बोलायला शिका, त्यांच्या गोष्टी मग त्या कितीही लहान किंवा निरर्थक वाटो तुम्हाला, त्यांना शांतपणे ऐकून घ्या. आपल्या जवळ कोणी तरी मनातलं बोलायला आहे हि इतकी सोपी गोष्ट देखील कधीतरी खूप सुखावून जाते. कदाचित तुमच्या एका शब्दाने कोणाचे प्राण वाचू शकतील. सध्या कोरोना मुळे आधीच जग खूप त...

म्हणून म्हणतात- बाप तो बाप असतो..! fathers डे बद्दल मी काही माझ्या आभारी भावना वडिलांबद्दल लिहिणे म्हणजे असे होईल कि सूर्याला मी धन्यवाद देत आहे त्याच्या कार्यासाठी, निसर्गाला मी धन्यवाद देत आहे oxygen साठी, एखाद्या वटवृक्षाला धन्यवाद देत आहे शीतल छायेसाठी .. किंवा या समस्त नियतीला धन्यवाद देत आहे या मिळालेल्या जीवनासाठी.  खरंच मला नाही वाटत त्यांना एका दिवशी धन्यवाद देऊन काही फरक पडेल? ते अहोरात्र आपल्यासाठी झटत असतात. एक वडील किंवा बाप  आपल्या अपत्यासाठी किंवा माझे वडील माझ्यासाठी नक्कीच वरील दिलेल्या उदाहरणा सारखेच आहेत. म्हणजे आपले अस्तित्वच त्यांच्यामुळे आहे त्यामुळे आपल्या प्रत्येक श्वासावर त्यांचा अधिकार आहे. कितीतरी गोष्टी आणि आठवणी लहानपणापासून मनात बिंबवल्या गेल्या असतात ना जेव्हा आपण 'बाबा' हा शब्द उच्चारतो?  खरंच बापाचे महत्व आणखी जास्त मला तेव्हा कळले जेव्हा मी स्वतः 'बाप' झालो. आपल्या चिमुकल्यांना शांत, आनंदात आणि सुखाने राहण्यासाठी जेव्हा हा बाप कष्ट, अपमान सहन करतो पण तरीही मनात एकच आशा असते ती अशी कि त्यांना संपूर्ण आयुष्यात कधीच आणि कोणताही त्रास होऊ न...

Yes, it’s easy & practicable. Pedagogy at rural schools/educational institutes can be made more effective & innovative through the new teaching way discussed further in the case.   It is globally observed that the basic soft skills are the most lacking skills among students especially in rural states. If we are able to succeed in making them smart by doing some key changes in the existing education system, our rural students will no longer be different from tier 1 or 2 cities.
