Self discipline through Planning & Scheduling


    Self-discipline is the most important aspect of a personality if you wish to learn proper planning & scheduling of your routine daily tasks. There are so many advantages if you do so, like maintaining a firm focus on anything you engage yourself in or to have a consistency in your thought action process or keep the motivation level always on top, it also energizes your confidence to face the sudden negative circumstances arising in life. It teaches you to follow your plans in the best manner to achieve your all-time goals.

     Planning is to think & decide in advance what to do in next in future and scheduling is to assign the structure & timeline to that forecasting with defined steps of progress, very systematically. It does not matter how big or small your task is, also it is secondary to think whether the task is of professional or personal nature, since it is equally important in both cases.

    Let us see in day-to-day life where this planning & scheduling technique can be applied to make life better:

·             You must plan your day in advance with a to-do list & follow it rigorously. Consistency can be achieved in your daily routine and tasks if you are seriously self-disciplined. You must learn to stick to your routine tasks & always think of your goals only.

·         Perhaps, the most important technique everyone tries to learn is to manage the time. You must learn to know the priority while dealing with multiple tasks at one time & you must also avoid the wastage of time in just thinking & planning because actions are more important than just being thoughtful.

·         It makes you more responsible and accountable in life in times of crises as well as success. In either situation you must learn to respond sensibly & not just react emotionally.

·         Procrastination is the biggest enemy in the journey of planning & scheduling the tasks while achieving the self-disciplined mode, so never allow procrastination to overpower you.

·         Everyone wishes to achieve Goals in life within a stipulated timeline. One must have a clear roadmap towards objectives in life to make this difficult path easy. You must respect the deadlines of all tasks.

·         Stress creates an unwanted hormone called Cortisol in the body that has several ill effects on our entire metabolism system. Everyone is aware on how dangerous STRESS is in human life for overall wellbeing (mental & physical health). If all the activities in a day & all the tasks are well planned & executed accordingly, it will reduce the unnecessary anxiety and stress arising out of them. By building a strong self-discipline anyone can build a great self confidence & a strong mechanism against stress management.

 So finally, keep your priority as setting the goals in life, creating a to-do list, learning what tasks to complete first. Learn to say NO when you are unsure or doubtful on certain assignments to complete as per the expectations of others. All these actions will automatically reduce the distractions in the way towards goal achievement.
