‘Bhutta & Coco-water’ on Panshet road will remain on top order no doubt,

Climbing Sinhgarh fort through dangerous short cuts,

Roaming in Lonavala with friends in heavy rains,

Always enjoyed getting lost in the beauty of ‘Khandala’ in monsoon,

Long walks in ‘Tiger Valleys & Khandala Ghat’,

Can’t forget those Local train journeys & Antaksharies,

‘Joshi Vadapaw' tasted more delicious in rains

'Yashwant Dabeli' will always remain in mind,

Visiting to Katraj park during rains was a routine,

Sitting silently in Sarasbagh (Absolutely single) was very refreshing,

Having tasty chat & Bhelpuri at Sambhaji Park anytime,

Who can forget Bundgarden's famous Bhel in evening,

Proudly wandered as 'Wadian' on Dhole Patil road anytime,

A full day spent at Hotel Le-Meridien will always be in mind,

Can’t forget having delicious lunches at 'Madhuban & Sagar',

Will always be Crazy for Parathas at 'Chaitanya',

Mouthwatering Dosas at 'Vaishali & Rupali’ on FC road,

Remember the day when 'Wadeshwar' inaugurated, 

Visiting to Panchali hotel after Jangli Maharaj Mandir visit was great, 

Getting lost into an ocean of literature in British Library,

Sometimes compromising on food even at 'Modern cafe',

Dinners & celebrations with family & friends at 'Hotel Navami Garden,' were magical

Going to 'Music world' to listen latest songs was always a fun part,

Glory of camp area & infrastructure will always remain in eyes,

Always loved the glorious looks of Hotel Holiday Inn & Arora Towers

Experience of cold coffee in ‘Coffee house’ was mesmerizing, 

Bunking lectures to taste 'Chicken Samosas' & Irani chai at Hotel Naaz was exceptional,

Can't forget the 'BunMaska' at Good luck/ Naaz/ or my personal favorite 'Vohuman cafe',

A single ‘date’ till date at ‘Café Marz-o-rin’ will always be special in heart,

Watching morning shows of ‘DDLJ’ at Alankar was an ultimate feeling,

Having Non-veg food at 'Tiranga & Kaveri’ was just awesome,

Going Swargate or Shivajinagar for just Egg-bhurji at 03:00 in morning was insane,

Spending all nights out during ‘Ganesh festival’ remains a great memory,

Enjoying rains from the terrace of our ‘Pent house’ in Rakshaknagar was great feeling....

Miss you "Pune".....a lot even today.....

Ten years journey from a banker to an academician… It's 30th June 2020 today. Exactly 10 years back on same day (30th June 2010) I joined this academic career shifting from the position of Deputy Manager (at HDFC bank) to Assistant Professor in RCPIMRD Shirpur. Hundreds of people during last decade have asked me one common question that 'Sir, Why did you switch from Corporate to Academic career?' I don't know why there was such a big shock in the minds of people to see me going from higher salary to lower salary, from mega city to small town or simply to a teaching profession from being a banker? 'How to produce creative content & find the right audience?' Before writing if you have hundred of doubts in your mind like how people will react on your various articles & writings? Whether they will love or hate your content? How will it affect your own perception in their minds? etc. Then trust me, you can never write a natural & true article filled with emotions & realities in it for sure. At this point you have to think for a while, relax and consider as if nobody exists in the world at the time of writing....If you are writing truly & honestly, you do not need to worry about anyone or anything in the world. Always have self-confidence that your hard efforts will not be wasted. I still remember that hoarding......

It was routine for me during those five years from 2000 to 2005 to catch a PMT that used to stop somewhere between shashtri chowk to Yerawada  & one big hoarding always used to catch my attention. Initially I did not understand its meaning but everyday when those words used to come before my eyes, I used to stare at them till they completely disappear from my view. I tried to guess the meaning of it & finally I understood it. I guess there was some school nearby & the hoarding was meant to be read by the the parents who came to the school or anyhow it was very important for those having children at their home. So without having an intention to read & remember those lines even after twenty years I have those lines as fresh as watching them for the first time in life.   I joined education industry switching from banking & sales way back in 2010. I observed one thing here while delivering my first lecture in the class of BBA somewhere during July 2010. When I started teaching in English there was a kind of discomfort among all students in the class. After the class few students met me personally to inform that it was very strange for them to have English as a teaching language. To their strange reactions I was more surprised. As I studied in University of Pune in a very reputed institution ‘Ness Wadia College’; I never imagined that there could be another language to use while teaching as a professor in class. But very soon I came to know the real problem of so called Rural India in terms of lacking good communication skills especially in English language. "माझ्या आठवणीतले बस स्टॉप” रोजच्या धकाधकीच्या जीवनातील वळणावर किती लोकं भेटतात ना नकळत आपल्याला, जी त्यांची कैफियत नकळत सांगून जातात? किती तन्मयतेने तुम्ही त्यांच्या व्यथा ऐकून घेता यावर तुमची निरीक्षण क्षमता बऱ्याच अंशी अवलंबून असते असे निदान मला तरी वाटते. बस स्टॉप सर्वांनीं बघितलेलाच असेल ना? एखादा खूप गर्दीचा बस स्टॉप, असंख्य लोकं आपल्या आपल्या विवंचनेत आपल्या बसची वाट बघत आपल्या विश्वात गुंग झालेली दिसतात. लहान मुलं मात्र सर्व भान विसरून तिथे सुद्धा मस्त खेळत असतात, त्यांना कसलीच चिंता नसते. कदाचित वाढत्या वयाबरोबर चेहेऱ्यावरचे हसू उडायला लागते कि काय असा भास होतो. एखादा वृद्ध व्यक्ती आपला जाड भिंगांचा चष्मा आणि काडी सांभाळत आडोशाला बसलेला दिसतो, एखादे गोंडस बाळ मस्त चॉकलेट खाताना स्वतःशीच बडबडत असते. अचानक कँटीन मधून गरम खमंग नाश्त्याचा ट्रे घेऊन मोठ्या दिमाखाने एखादा कारागीर येतो आणि त्याच्या सुगंधाने प्रवाश्यांना जणू भुरळ पाडून आपली कमाई करून घेतो. अश्या परिस्थितीमध्ये सुद्धा तुम्हाला काही हतबल चेहेरे दिसतील जे मनातल्या मनात त्या गरम नाष्ट्याकडे बघूनच तृप्त होऊन जातात. होत...
